Design and function
The launching tube has a clear instruction and non-slip surface
to ensure safe operation even when launched with one hand. The
uncocked striker and aterproof design without tapes or other
types of seals is standard on all IKAROS RIGINAL rockets. The
rocket is waterproof and can be held under water in ready-to-fire
position.

Applications
For rescue operations at sea as pilot line for cables and ropes.
Use it between ships, shore to ship or ship to shore, or for
rescuing personnel.
Design and function
A robust construction consisting of a waterproof plastic container
incorporating an integral handle and trigger mechanism, with
a solid fuel rocket and 300 m of line.
The line is secured to the inside of the container by a quick
release knot. A buoyant head is also availablefor attachment
to the front end of the rocket. As the rocket has integral ignition
only one item needs replacing after the statutory expiry date.

Design and function
The IKAROS lifebuoy light is an externally mounted, self-activating
lifebuoy light conforming to the latest international requirements.
The light is operated by a lithium battery and the signal is
sealed to provide long-term storage properties over a wide range
of temperatures and humidity conditions. The light is completely
sealed with a life of at least 5 years. The signal is easy to
test (built-in-test) and has a reed switch. The IKAROS lifebuoy
light is delivered with bracket as standard.
